Regular price $0.00 $575.00 Sale

This particular Kirin is aged for 18 years and is a single malt. The focus at Kirin distillery is manly grain whisky but a small quantity of malt whisky is also produced. Their grain whiskies have won international stardom, with the 25 year old is inning the worlds best grain at the WWA. This award has brought recognition to the Kirin brand and people are now experimenting with their tasty malt whiskies. The 2 main labels used at the Kirin distillery are Gotemba and Sanroku, the less expensive ''Fuji Gotemba'' label contains only 18 year old malt, while ''Sanroku'' reputedly contains malt up to 24 years of age (malts are aged by their youngest component), hence the higher price. Bottled at 43% and only made for Japan, it was a bottle rarely seen out side of the country. Please note this bottle comes with a limited tubing box rather than the picture as shown, email for more info.
