One of the most famous and sort after Japanese whisky bottles in the world is Chichibu. And one of the highest collectable bottles Chichibu has ever released is the Intergalactic series. The entire sets of Intergalactic releases were completely sold out within a matter of minutes....... yep minutes. So, to get your hands on these was extremely hard, these are the only known bottles, of Intergalactic, for sale in Australia. To date, 4 Editions have been released and this is the very first one off the ranks. It’s the 2012 Single Ex-Peated Bourbon Cask #2112 / Intergalactic Edition 1. This is a third fill bourbon cask from barrel 2112 and it was selected as the first instalment of the Intergalactic Series, a 2019 single cask range from Chichibu. Edition 1 was distilled in 2012 and selected specially for Salud Distribution. The cask had previously held peated Chichibu single malt. One of 182 bottles in the world.
