This Chichibu was bottled in 2017 from an IPA Cask. First an oak barrel was filled with whisky and then refilled with IPA beer from craft breweries in Japan. This has a huge percentage of alcohol of 57.5%. For an IPA cask this is huge due to not many distilleries having experimented with IPA casks before. 6700 bottles were made and only very few were privately bought for the Australian market.
